Prom and Mother's Day....

Hello Everyone! Wow, things have been BUSY here in the O'Connell household. Jackie's prom was last weekend. She and Kyle looked AMAZING!!!! They had a great time, too! Soccer is coming to an end, graduation is around the corner and we've been running non-stop.



This is a card I made for my Premier Designs "Mom", Teresa. She has been an inspiration and an awesome friend!! I'm so glad to have her in my life!!



We are both fashion, shoe and accessory addicts. So, when I saw these purses all over Splitcoast I knew one would be perfect for Teresa's Mother's Day card. She loved it!! Woohoo....mission accomplished. ;o)

Another Belated Birthday card....

Yes, I'm sending yet another belated birthday card. It's the thought that counts, right? Please say, "yes". Please? I've been busy with soccer, my daughter's upcoming prom and graduation, and life in general!

At any rate, this card is for a friend of our family, Ali Jayne. She turned 17 back in the middle of April. Hope she had a great birthday ...and that this card puts a smile on her face!!




I originally made a bunch of these as thank you cards for my Hostesses.... see, I'm "The Jewelry Lady". I sell Premier Designs Jewelry. After I had them all bedazzled with SU!'s Dazzling Diamonds glitter, I thought they'd make good birthday cards for teen girls, too!! The photo doesn't show the glitter on the necklace, bracelet and earrings. It's very sparkly!!

Sweet Zima...

Dear friends of our recently lost their sweet golden retriever, Zima. She was a fabulous, cuddly girl! Zima lived a charmed life with her brothers and sister. Yes, they had four dogs!

Here's the sympathy card I sent to our friends. I used the Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 66 as my jumping off point.

Every day dust....

Yesterday I was going through my Google Reader and came across this amazing card. I have a stamp with the same quote, although it looks a bit different. I immediately went into my craft room and made this card....




Thanx to Susan, a much neglected stamp got some inky love yesterday!! I love the outcome, too. It was so quick and easy. It's amazing how some people have such creative genius running through them. Susan's blog, Simplicity, is an amazing place for inspiration!! If you haven't been there, please check it out ....you'll be addicted just like me!! haha!!

Who doesn't like a green beer?

Well, me for one! I'm not a beer drinker....I prefer more girlie drinks...a cosmo, malibu baybreeze, french martini. haha!! However, two of my favorite aunts are beer drinkers. So, what better card for St. Patty's Day?!? Yes, I know it was last week....but I didn't want to spoil the happy mail for them...in case they visit my blog.



For this card, I used Taylored Expression's "Chillax" set. A fav of mine!! This set is great for all sorts of occasions. Hang in there, Girls Night Out, Birthdays, Just for Fun, etc....




I've really been having fun decorating the inside of cards lately. I forgot to take the picture before I wrote inside...ooops!!

Holly hit the BIG 4-0!!!

A dear friend of mine, Holly, turned FORTY back in January. We used to work together when I lived in the York area back in 2002-2005. Even though I moved closer to "home" and am now living in Quarryville...a group of us still get together every month (which turns into every two or three months) for dinner. In fact, we are meeting for dinner tonight! Woohoo!!





This is the card I made for Holly's FORTIETH birthday! Cosmobella is the first Bella I purchased and remains one of my all time FAVS!!! She's just so adorable!!

The sentiment is computer generated. The inside has a pop-up "40" ...using Thickers. I forgot to take a picture before mailing the card....doh!!! The inside sentiment reads, "Forty's the new Thirty!" So perfect for Holly! Although, she's fabulous at any age!!

Believe it!!

Yes, I am actually posting two days in a row!! Wonders never cease! haha!

This is a card I create for a friend of the family. Jena turned 13 at the end of January. She's a sweetie and I wanted to make her a special card. This is my first "pop-up" card and I'm so happy with how it turned out.



The Kettos (from Stamping Bella) have stolen my heart! They are so fun and carefree....and a blast to color. I used my SU! markers to color little Missmatch KETTO on this card. I purchased some COPICS yesterday in the PTI colors and can not WAIT to start using them.

I used Thickers for the "13". I've had them for about a year and have been hoarding them. Sound familiar?!? I know, I know....I'm supposed to actually USE the products I buy. It's so hard, though!!! heehee!!

I've been experiencing some crazy insomnia since the clocks "sprung forward". Is anyone else going through this? Tonight, I'm taking Tylenol PM before going to bed ...or a strong night cap!! Hope everyone has a fabulous evening! Post you all soon!!
