Happy Tuesday! I'm meeting my good friend (who happens to be my boss!) for lunch today. I'm looking forward to it ..... I enjoy spending time with Leanne .... we always end up laughing half the time!! Plus, I'm nervous about my dentist appointment tomorrow morning. I have been a bad, bad girl. It's been about 4 years since I was at the dentist. GULP! There's a LOT of work to be done. My teeth have always been very straight and looked nice. However, they are very soft and tight together....which means I get cavities very easily. Fun!! Wish me luck, please!!

Anyway... on to the card, the real reason your visiting today. haha!! I made this card back in February using PTI's Boards and Beams set. LOVE this set. Of course, I love all of my PTI sets ...and the ones I don't own yet, too!! Bad thing about not posting right away....I can't remember who I made this for. Isn't that horrible?!?! When you send out about 15 or more cards a month, it gets difficult to remember who each one was for. Anyone else have that problem? I started keeping a small notebook in my stamp room, right next to the postage stamps. Whenever I mail a card, I write down the date and the person who I'm sending it to and why. For example, today I mailed a card to my Grandmother-in-Law.... so in my notebook I wrote, "3/30/09 - MomMom Betty - Birthday". I also sent a sympathy card to a co-worker....so I wrote, "3/30/09 - Jake Lamb, KCDL - Sympathy". Make sense?

The card is pretty self-explanatory. I used a sponge dauber on the trees, after I colored in the leaves. I love how the windows look lit up. This idea came from many creations I've seen on SCS. Gotta love that site!!

Thanx for visiting! Come back soon!!

Masculine Martini Birthday

Happy Monday! What an oxy moron, huh?!? I've never been a fan of Mondays. Mondays and mornings ....yuck!! Ok, enough negativity....I promise.

This set, Cheers to You, is one of those sets that just seems to stay on my stamp table. I love it! It's great for girls, guys, congrats, birthdays, just for fun ...you name it!! Those are the best kind of sets. The ones you really get your money's worth out of.

This card is another case. Check out stampqueen17's card here. I love how she used the oval punch and the 1/4" punch to make an olive. The toothpick is just the perfect touch!!

I made this card for a co-worker of mine, Dan. It turns out that he does some digital papercrafting / photography work of his own. Funny how you never know so many things about the people you work with. We are both remote employees (work from home), so we don't see each other.....in fact, we've only met once. It's really neat to connect over a hobby.

Thanx for visiting today! Hope this Monday is the beginning of a great week for us all!!

Thank who???

The problem with not posting cards right away....you can't always remember who you made them for. Jeez!?! If my memory is this bad at 38....look out when I hit 60!!! GULP!

Anyway, I really like how this turned out. The DSP is a Basic Grey scrap that was laying on my table. The braided trim was something we bought a few yards of at Halloween for my middle son's costume. I'll be using that stuff for years to come! haha!!

I have always liked this stamp set, Take Three. At each new catty release I would be glad that this set made it through. Then, when it finally hit the Retired List, I just had to buy it. Talk about waiting til the last minute!!

Thanx for visiting! Hope your Sunday is full of family, friends and relaxation!!

Beers to You! ....er, I mean... Cheers to You!

Hello! Yes, two days in a row...shocking!!

This card was a lot of fun to make. I cased it from this card by Michele Force. I made it for one of my co-workers in February. Being an avid stamper, I was asked to make birthday cards for our team. It's been a lot of fun!

Gotta dash! Come back tomorrow for more eye candy!

Dude.....where've you been?

Hello! Yes, I've been MIA again. My apologies!! My good friend Liz is very good at getting me back to blogging. She actually misses my posts!! Is that a good friend, or what?!?! Thanx, Liz!!

This card is perfect for a boy ...of any age! The "So Cool" stamp set from SU! is one of my favs. I can't believe they retired it.

The bottom of the card front is the "Dude" circle. You can see what I mean in the pic below....

I really like how this card turned out! The colors are great and I really like the snazzy layout. I'm sure I was inspired by the many, many hours of blurfing that I do! It's so incredible, the amount of talent out there!

Thanx for visiting! I have several posts scheduled for the next week...stay tuned!
